The International Photography Awards conducts an annual competition on a global level, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today. This year's entries spanned 103 countries worldwide with approximately 15,000 submissions. Jurors had the challenging task of reducing that number to 330 winners and 21 Finalists who will go on to compete for three top awards - International Photographer of the Year, sponsored by AtEdge, The Discovery of the Year awarded to a non professional, and the Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year awarded to the photographer whose story behind the images are just as compelling as the photographs themselves. Those finalists will be invited to attend the Lucie Awards at the Lincoln Center, New York, where one photographer will be announced as the International Photographer of the Year, earning the coveted Lucie Statue and a cash prize of $10,000.
