We kick off the new year with our always enjoyable Photo Of The Month gathering on January 7th. I hope that you will consider sharing a photo, photo-collage, diptych or triptych by emailing it to info@princetonphotoclub.org by 4pm that day.
On January 14th, we welcome guest speaker Faith Ninivaggi. For the past 20 years, Faith has documented major news events, pro sports, feature stories and political figures as a photojournalist for the Boston Herald. Her career has been shaped by long-term storytelling and deep human connection. Faith’s work includes a 20-year family documentary project, Gen Z, documenting teens' experiences during COVID, and Unwavering Spirit, focusing on Ukrainian students affected by the onset of war. Alongside her photographic practice, Faith has been a photography teacher and mentor, and has recently taken on the role of President of the Photographic Resource Center in Boston.

On January 21st, all are invited to join us for our monthly in-person meeting at D&R Greenway, One Preservation Place, Princeton, NJ  08540. For this meeting we will try a new format that should be a lot of fun! Everyone will bring a photo of their own — in print or electronically (on your phone, iPad etc.) — and we will pair off with another participant to discuss each photo for a few minutes. We will then rotate to a new partner and repeat the process. This round-robin format will give you an opportunity to gain insights about others’ perceptions of your work, and to chat with some people you know and some you haven’t yet met.
We close out the month on January 28th with an online preview of a fantastic new exhibit at Lakefront Gallery by Vladimir Oksman, Sharon Piech and Jeff Sayre. Please mark your calendars for the opening reception at Lakefront Gallery on Wednesday, February 4th, from 5-7 pm. Lakefront Gallery is located within RWJ Hospital Hamilton, 1 Hamilton Health Place, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
